The NSOU Learner’s Support Centre of Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya serves as an academic support facility for learners pursuing NSOU programmes through the Centre.

The Centre aims to bridge the gap between distance/open learning and direct academic interaction by providing learners with appropriate guidance and support throughout their academic journey.

Major Objectives

• To provide academic support and guidance to NSOU learners.
• To facilitate counselling/classes as per the schedule prescribed by NSOU.
• To communicate important University and Study Centre notices to learners.
• To assist students with information regarding assignments and examinations.
• To facilitate examination-related academic and administrative support.
• To provide information regarding results and other academic activities.
• To encourage regular interaction between learners and academic support personnel.
• To create a learner-friendly academic environment for students enrolled in open and distance learning programmes.
