Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya is a co-educational Degree College. It was established in 1985 and it had been duly accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. The college was founded on 6th September, 1985. This college was included under 2(f) of UGC on 4th March, 1993 and also included under 12(B) of UGC on 26th February, 1998.
